YouTube and Crime Stoppers

I usually only watch fun stuff so I tend to miss some of the amazing uses of YouTube. For example, the Hamilton Police Force has posted footage from a surveillance video camera on YouTube in the hopes that someone will be able to help them solve a crime.  While I admit that this may not be the first time YouTube has been used in this manner, I don’t have any time to do my research now.

What an incredible validation of social media technology.
