PAB2008 an unbelievable experience

There are so many things I want to share about PAB2008. I’m just too tired right now to do that. However, I didn’t want to waste any time to say that this year’s conference exceeded any and all expectations I could have imagined. Everyone was engaged and engaging.

One thing that I have been thinking about is the lofty vision I had of PAB being the TED of social media. I am absolutely blown away by how the presenters delivered on that vision. PAB2008 was truly a motivational, inspirational and creative weekend.

Thank you to every PABster and PAB sponsor for making the conference necessary and possible. And, thank you Bob, Cat and Andrea for another great collaboration and for all of your amazing support and patience.

Expect some posts about PAB on my blog this week.

  1. Congrats Mark. You guys all did an amazing job again. From what I experienced from home, it sure seemed like another fantastic PAB (you had couches, man!).

I blogged about being at PAB from my own couch at home in Nashville: http://blog.davemadethat.com/2008/06/22/5-things-you-must-have-to-attend-conferences-from-your-couch/

I *will* be at PAB09 for sure. I’m dying to see you guys all again, perhaps even sooner should my luck have it.

Speak to you soon. Keep up the amazing work.

    Cheers,
    Dave

  2. As I drove home, I recorded my thoughts about the weekend for blogging (and emailing) later. It’s hard to drive and write notes at the same time! :) I kept repeating a number of themes which you summed up:

“PAB2008 was truly a motivational, inspirational and creative weekend.”

I was PUMPED! A million thanks again to you the organizers, the speakers and my fellow PABsters.

  4. By far the best PAB ever, and 2006 was hard to top. The only sad thing was to miss those people that we love and who couldn’t make it like Bruce Murray, Barry from Barrie, Dave Delaney and others. I wish everyday felt like being at PAB.
