I’m one of three speakers (the others being Michelle Sullivan and Sylvain Carle) kicking off the PodCamp Montreal program at 9:00am on Saturday, September 20. My session is called Interlocking Stones : Decisions, Techniques and Styles to turn daily downloads from 20 to 2000 and I’ve described it as follows:
Producing and promoting a podcast is a lot like putting together an interlocking stone walkway — you need to make each piece fit and flow into the next piece and the end result should be attractive to use. It can also take a lot of hard work.
This session explores the decisions made (and the rationale behind them) in launching a niche-specific podcast for a non-technical audience, the evolution of the production and promotion of the podcast over a two-year period and how the audience grew from 20 to 2000 downloads a day.
The PodCamp Montreal organizing team has done an absolutely amazing job on their website.
Be sure to check out the schedule.

Looking forward to your session – sounds very compelling!
See you in MTL!
