[...] EventBot remembers back to Social Media Breakfast (SMB) Ottawa 1, hosted by our friends at Ramius. Organized by Simon Chen, Ryan Anderson and Rob Lane, SMB presented the perfect crowd of well-spoken, media saavy people who were not afraid of the camera lens! It was great to have videos of people leaving their Twitter handles and blog urls – all in the name of engagement. (Maybe that’s the norm now, but way back in 2008 it was pretty nifty.) For anyone who hasn’t been, these breakfasts continue to be a hub for anyone who is interested in social media, good conversation, business, coffee and the great view from the Gowlings offices on Elgin St. You don’t need me to re-cap though, there’s plenty of content out there that attests. Mark Blevis is one consistently fabulous source.
Hey Mark,

Thanks for putting together a great recap of the show - oh and for including my perspective on the event. I sure do "um" a lot! :D

Geez, WHY AM I SO LOUD? I guess I need to work on my mic skills. That was my podcasting debut, now that I think of it.

Great to meet you Mark, and great job on the podcast!
