Has Apple’s 2007-002 fixed the AirPort problem?

Thanks to Nick for alerting me to the March 8 release of the AirPort Extreme Update 2007-002 by Apple. According the the notes, this update “contains an additional non-security fix for a compatibility issue when using certain third-party access points configured to use WEP”. If that includes WPA, the grief that 2007-001 caused me should be over.

One Response to “Has Apple’s 2007-002 fixed the AirPort problem?”

  1. Martin R. Ehmsen Says:

It seems to be fixed on my MacBook Pro - Core Due. I have been connected to my WPA2 access point for the last couple of hours with no problem. My laptop has even went to sleep a couple of times and have connected again successfully when woken up (which it hasn’t been able to the last month, since the infamous “update”).
Anyone found any conclusive about whether the problem has actually been fixed?
